Following my earlier communication, I can now announce the formal launch of the Four Oaks FC Boot Exchange initiative. Which has two purposes:

1. Reduce the damage caused to parents’ wallets from fast growing feet
2. Raise money for the club to invest on training kit and equipment

As mentioned previously, we’re looking for donations of boots that are in good condition and for each pair you donate, you will receive a £5 Four Oaks Boot Exchange voucher, which can then be used in part payment for your next pair of boots.

For those who wish to participate, the following applies:

• We’re looking for donations of all sizes of boots (studs, moulded and astro styles)

• All we ask is that the boots donate you donate are in a condition you would be happy to receive yourself – ideally clean with laces washed

• You will receive a £5 Four Oaks Boot Exchange voucher for each pair donated

• Boots available to purchase will be listed on a dedicated club Facebook page with regular updates uploaded to Instagram

• Children’s boots up to size 6 will cost from £10 per pair to purchase

• Adult boots, from size 6.5, will cost from £15 per pair to purchase

• Payment can be made using a combination of cash/voucher

We expect most boots to be priced at £10 and £15 only those in exceptional condition will have a premium applied.

If you have boots to donate, and we’ve received a few pairs already, could you pass to your team manager and arrangements will be made to collect from them.
