Bears put themselves under early pressure and despite a good first-up save from captain and stand-in keeper, Ben,Walsallare able to pick up the rebound and score in their very first attack.

In their very next attack, Ben makes another good save but can do nothing to stop the following shot. 

In their next attack,Walsallcross the ball and it takes a cruel deflection and sails into the top of the net

We’re only a couple of minutes in. Bears have not been in this position, and this will be a real test of their character

Another great save from Ben prevents Bears from going further behind before Kiano battles down the wing to win a corner.

From the corner, Kiano shoots and sneaks it in at the near post. Game on. 

Bears start to win some possession and win a free-kick on the edge of theWalsallarea.

Kiano steps up and puts a great shot just under the crossbar to haul Bears back into the game.

In the next Bears attack, Kiano picks up the ball from a throw-in, turns and puts the ball past the keeper for his hat-trick and levels the scores 

Another attack from Walsall and again Ben makes a good first save, butWalsallscore from the rebound at the end of the first period. What a start to this game


For the second period, both Kiano and Corey are on the pitch together

The game ebbs and flows from end to end with no real chances, but plenty of tension building until a Bears own goal from aWalsallcorner leaves Bears down at the end of the second period


In the third period, Ben wins the ball in the middle of the park and sets Kiano through the middle to score.


At the start of the fourth period, Bears concede an early goal 

Then they remember how to pass. Savas and Kiano pass between themselves before a great through ball sets up Lewis who scores

Bears continue to pass the ball around as the minutes tick by. Ben puts a good ball through to Lewis who is hauled down just outside the box.

Kiano’s free kick results in handball in the box and it’s a Bears penalty

We’re in for a tense finish here

Walsallattack, but they are no match for Charlie Mac in goal now. He picks up and launches a big kick downfield. Kiano latches on to it and strikes a rocket into the top corner sending the crowd in hysterics. What a finish. Bears lead for the first time in the game.

There’s still a couple of minutes to defend, andWalsallkeep pushing forward.

They go really close with a shot before the final whistle. What a great competitive game of football between two great sides


Parents award for player of the match is awarded to Kiano who dragged his team back into this match and netted six super goals. What a great performance

Manager’s award goes to Ben who played well in goal and shored up the defence when he came out on pitch
